HUTCHINSON, KAN., May 18, 2026 — DCI, the privately-owned developer of core processing, digital banking, and fintech processing solutions, has been named one of the 2026 Best Places to Work in Financial Technology by Arizent and Best Companies Group for the third year in a row.

The awards program and annual survey – created in 2017 – is designed to highlight companies that foster a positive, supportive workplace environment and have strong reputations and cultures in the financial technology industry. Companies recognized on this year’s list operate in and serve companies and consumers in a wide range of financial services including banking and mortgages, insurance, payments and financial advisory.

The 2026 list includes 33 companies and was published by Arizent brands American Banker, National Mortgage News, Financial Planning and Digital Insurance on May 18, 2026.

“Each year, the Best Places to Work in Financial Technology offers a glimpse into the workplace practices of fintechs whose employees rate them highly," said Penny Crosman, Executive Editor of Technology at American Banker. "This year, employees appear to value remote work, schedule flexibility autonomy above all else, at a time when many traditional financial firms are enforcing strict return-to-work policies."

Companies from across the United States entered a two-part survey process to determine Arizent’s Best Places to Work in Financial Technology. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final ranking.

We are honored to be recognized, once again, as a Best Places to Work in FinTech,” said Sarah Fankhauser, DCI’s President and CEO. “At DCI, we prioritize collaborative and trustworthy relationships with our customers. That responsibility begins internally, through fostering respect and appreciation among our team. We constantly strive to provide employees with a healthy and dynamic work environment. We definitely want each member of our staff to feel recognized and appreciated for their role in making our company successful.”
